Amy has completed her Degree in Clinical Myotherapy at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, where she also received her Diploma in Remedial Massage. Amy has a strong passion in helping people returning to their everyday activities as well as getting them back out into their chosen sport. She is a strong believer in helping the local sporting clubs and has been a Sports Trainer and Remedial Massage Therapist for Broadford Football Netball Club. In the past Amy was a therapist for the Richmond and Carlton AFL teams where she worked with the sports’ elite players. In the clinical setting Amy enjoys a challenge, and working on tricky cases such as chronic conditions and injuries.
Amy hopes to continue her study, with a Masters in strength and conditioning, she also has plans to complete a clinical pilates course.
In her spare time Amy is a competitive horse rider, competing mainly in showjumping. She has had great success over the years in her chosen sport, as it has lead to her representing the country on a number of occasions, even earning herself a silver medal and a teams win on 2 consecutive occasions. Currently Amy works with kids as a showjumping coach for the Lancefield Pony Club to share her knowledge and experiences.
