Having degrees in both Physical Education Teaching and Psychology, this has given Raúl the capability to take relevant information and fully understand his clients' conditions to get the best outcomes through his treatments. Raúl has experienced that having his patients understand the causes of their issues and how the body works contributes to much more effective results. Raúl considers movement as the basic pillar of a healthy lifestyle.
Raúl has completed his diploma of Remedial Massage in 2017 and he is currently studying Myotherapy. Raúl is taking interest in Postural Integration and Myofascial Needling philosophies and techniques. He also enjoys constantly learning new techniques to improve his current skill set.
Raúl was born in Spain. He has played handball for the last 17 years in different European teams. During all that time he has experienced the impact of “hands on” treatments on his injuries and rehabilitation. It was, in fact, a lower back injury what influenced him get into this industry.
Outside of work, our practitioner enjoys working out in the gym and meet new people throughout the exercise and fitness community. He also loves cooking, especially his favorite cultural Spanish cuisine. Don’t be afraid to ask him about these traditional family recipes! When not flicking through recipe books, Raul loves reading about world history.
Just like the rest of the team at Moonee Ponds Myo & Osteo, Raúl loves travelling! He has lived in Poland and England before moving to Australia. He enjoys learning from other cultures and sharing all his experiences with his clients.
